Membership Information

Membership in The Rotary Club of Maumee is by invitation.

A club member needs to obtain a membership proposal form, fill out the required information, and present the proposal to the club membership director or another member of the board. Once received by the membership committee, the proposal will be reviewed to determine if the applicant is acceptable according to Rotary International guidelines for membership in the organization. If acceptable, the membership committee will assign the applicant a classification and vote to approve the proposed member. The proposal then is forwarded to the Board of Directors for their approval. After receiving Board approval, the applicant’s name is published in the bulletin for two consecutive weeks. If no objections are received from a club member, the applicant will be invited to a breakfast where the duties and responsibilities associated with Rotary will be explained and the applicant will formally be invited to join Rotary. Submission of the completed application to the club secretary with the appropriate admission fees constitutes acceptance of the invitation and the applicant becomes a member of The Rotary Club of Maumee.
